4 Born in Nepal Vowed his life to find Enlightenment 悟り After years of searching for this Enlightenment, he relaxed under a tree and discovered Nirvana 涅槃 He awoke and told others of his discovery He arose as the Great Buddha

5 Came from India インド Between 300 million and 500 million believe in Buddhism Slowly reached out to other countries

6 The Great Buddha, Siddhartha Buddha is not a God 仏 Buddha means “Enlightened One”
