2 What is “AP”? What are the benefits of taking an “AP” exam? College-level courses taught in high school mostly Teachers must complete an audit and be approved before “AP” is allowed on our transcript Benefits: –Gain an edge in college preparation –Develop study habits for rigorous course work. –Better prepared academically –Likely to perform significantly better than students who did not take AP courses –Receive a High School Grade with bonus points –More likely to exercise leadership.

5 Spanish “AP” Exam AP Exam Administered in May Approximately four hours long Composed of multiple-choice and free-response questions Free-response questions graded by college professors and AP teachers in June AP Examination grades range from 1 to 5
