“Completing” the work of Kant

 One object is different from another object if it is distinct in time and space.  The phenomenal is not a different reality from the noumenal, but it is the same reality known in a different way.  Phenomenal forces directly have nothing to do with mind or consciousness.  The Empirical world is without meaning; therefore, it is nothing at all.

 It is not possible for the noumenal to cause the phenomenal.  Free will is caused from within us and is the cause of our bodily movements.  Cosmic energy has nothing to do with our consciousness; therefore, it is inconceivable.

 We have a sense of what we “ought” to do because of compassion.  Compassion helps us to understand the suffering of others and is the foundation of ethics.  Compassion also is the foundation of interpersonal relationships and love.

 Throughout man’s life, he is a slave of insatiable desires.  Because man cannot be satisfied, he suffers.  Man can escape suffering by escaping through his experience with the arts: music, sculpture, painting, poetry, etc.  Each man’s life is an inevitable tragedy, ending in death.

Can one look at human history and see anything but a bloody reality? Can one think of any specific examples in which this has NEVER been the case?
