6. Which side of the heart has high oxygen and low CO2? The left side!

7. Why does blood flow freely in arteries? Arteries are lined with smooth epithelial cells.

8. What causes blood pressure? The force by which the ventricles contract.

9. Which blood cell carries oxygen to the body cells! The red blood cell!

10. What do platelets do? Help in clotting the blood!

11. What happens to the fluid that leaks into the tissues from the blood? It enters the lymphatic system

12. What do lymph nodes do? They trap disease causing bacteria

13. What is atherosclerosis? The thickening of artery walls due to the build up of fatty materials

14. What can atherosclerosis lead to? A HEART ATTACK!
