2. SAFETY AWARENESS As a step towards ‘Safety awareness drive’, a mock drill was exercised in the school premises. The students were made aware of the do’s and don’ts in the critical situations of natural disasters like earthquakes and natural slides. The students were told about the safety measures and to act wisely in these conditions. They were equipped with the basics of life saving techniques. ANNUAL DAY The sixth Annual Day of Jay Jyoti Schol, Sholtu was celebrated with great zest and enthusiasm. The theme of the programme was ‘Confidence to Excel’ in which the students exhibited their talent. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. HK Sharma (Advisor JSW).

3. The other esteemed guests included the high officials of JSW and the local Government Administrative officers. The programme started with the ‘Lighting of the Lamp’ and ‘Saraswati Vandana’. The Programme included wonderful dance items and plays performed by the young buds of the school. The young toddlers of Nursery & KG mesmerised the audience with their innocent dance performances. The main attraction were Kinnauri Dance, Goan Dance, Garbha & Classical Fusion. Prize Distribution was also held in which the prizes were given to outstanding academic performers.

4. SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON DIWALI A special assembly on Diwali was conducted by the students of class 6. It was a beautiful dance performed by the students celebrating the return of Lord Rama. Children looked wonderful dressed as Rama, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman. CHILDREN DAY CELEBRATION Children Day was an activity and fun filled day for the students. While the boys enjoyed the cricket match, Girls were taken for picnic in the nearby forest.
