Version 1.1 Otto Künnecke Group - Applications Financial Solutions CISS for personalization The CISS for personalization can be equipped with a high speed thermo printing module and / or a high speed labelling unit. Card mailing and sorting for direct distribution The CASS systems do not only verify the optical and electronic data on the card, but also print the letter, apply the document and insert additional enclosures on demand. After inserting the weight of each envelope is verified. Post-processing modules such as inkjet printers, franking machines or grouping modules top off the range of products. Card and Passport verification, grouping and packaging for indirect distribution The CISS (for cards) optimize the indirect distribution to local offices. They do not only verify the optical and electronic data on the security document, they also group and sort the documents, band and label them, print the delivery note and insert the documents into a foil envelope – definitely secure. PHS: PIN Handling System The PHS has the possibility of a freely configurable system in different varieties and security concepts. All systems are introduced to the market and are used by banks or other organizations. As modular as the hardware, the system can also be delivered with different software. Interfaces to all current HSM-software suppliers are available.

PHS – TSL: PIN Handling System – Thermoseal ® with Label Special Thermoseal ® -Paper is printed and folded. The printed PIN-number is covered with a security label. After label attachment the paper is sealed. PHS – SL: PIN Handling System – PIN with Single Label The carrier is printed. The paper has a special matrix on the backside in order for the PIN to be invisible. The security labels are attached to the carrier. One or more labels can be attached to the carrier. As an option the carriers could be folded and inserted. PHS – CCL: PIN Handling System – Card Carrier in combination with a PIN The card carrier is printed and the PIN is printed in the same stream. The PIN is locked to the card holder but the card and carrier are not activated. The security labels are attached to the carrier to hide the PIN and cards are attached also. The carrier is folded and inserted in an envelope. In the bank branch the card holder has to identify himself and card and PIN is activated by either telephone connection between bank officer and headquarter or by scanning a printed barcode which is online linked to the central office.
