2. What? What was the story Hamlet about exactly? Hamlet is coming home because of the death of his father. When he gets home his mother and uncle have fallen in love and are getting married. Hamlet has a relationship with Ophelia, one of the guards that guards of his family castle. They can never marry because she is not from royal blood.

3. What? Hamlet sees the ghost of his dad and his dad tells him that Claudius, his uncle, poisoned him and that is what killed him. Hamlet decides to seek revenge on Claudius for what he did to King Hamlet, Hamlet’s father.

4. When? It has been said that the first edition of Hamlet was written based on a previous sketch between 1599 and 1603.

5. Who? Who First wrote Hamlet? Most people think that Shakespeare was the first writer of Hamlet. There are some scholars that are in doubt of this. Some names of people who are being thought of as the “first writer of Hamlet” – Edward de Vere, Earl Oxford, Francis Bacon, Mary Sidney, Christopher Marlowe, and Thomas Kyd. Who was really the first writer of Hamlet?

6. Why Why would anyone ever doubt Shakespeare for what he is accredited for? – Shakespeare used more than 21,000 words in his writing. – He had a wide range of knowledge. His plays show knowledge of law, medicine, history, and much more. – Some of Shakespeare’s plays are set in Italy. Shakespeare never left England in his life. There was no way of access to any accurate maps during that time period. – There are many things that can conclude to the fact that Shakespeare had corresponded with a plethora of people, but nobody has ever found one letter addressed to him or written by him.

8. Our Opinion. We agree with the fact that there were other contributors to Shakespeare's writing. We think that he got his stories from other writers and made them into his own. Our reasoning for our thoughts are just from the facts that he never left England and some of his stories were set in Italy. We also think it was odd that there was no proof of him working with other writers.
