2 MONDAY Plausible : having an appearance of truth or reason; seemingly worthy of approval or acceptance; credible; believable Contradiction : assertion of the contrary or opposite; denial; direct opposition between things compared; inconsistency Evidence : that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof

3 TUESDAY Justify : to defend or uphold as warranted or well-grounded Audience : the persons reached by a book, radio or television broadcast, etc.; a regular public that manifests interest, support, enthusiasm, or the like Refute : to prove to be false or erroneous, as an opinion or charge; to prove (a person) to be in error

4 WEDNESDAY Dissuade : to deter by advice or persuasion; persuade not to do something Prevail : to appear or occur as the more important or frequent feature or element; predominate Discrepancy : an instance of difference or inconsistency

5 THURSDAY Invalidate : to render weak or ineffective, as an argument Negate : to nullify or cause to be ineffective Repudiate : to reject the authority or validity of; refuse to accept or ratify
