11. In Class Assignment #4: Shaded Ball: Create a shaded ball (guided in-class) with a full range of value (highlights, midtones, shadows). Make sure the value is a smooth gradient from light to dark which follows the spherical form. Size can be 7 x 5 ” @ 150 ppi * “ Stripey value ” needs to be blended to be smooth, so use a big, fuzzy brush! Add a value scale with 8 steps. Make sure that each of these values is in your shaded sphere. The value scale should be 8 steps - create 8 squares in a row (align/distribute) to show your value scale. Example on next page >>
