9 | Presentation datePresentation title: Insert > Header & Footer and Apply to All9 The Results  4,000 people engaged, 1,400 completed survey  There was overall support for the scheme (85% in favour)  Physical segregation of cycle lanes from general traffic particularly popular  A pro-active consultation using visualisations and online feedback tools will achieve greater local engagement  It offers the promoter an opportunity to take into account feedback from likely users to refine scheme designs  It also builds relationships with local groups for future engagement activities  This approach also helps to explain new concepts such as shared space and brings contentious parking issues to the fore early on in scheme design
