3. ALL 8 th grade students will test in the 4 core subject areas…ELAR, Math, History, and Science. Students MUST pass these tests in order to be promoted to the 9 th grade!!!

6. Students are given 4 hours to complete each test. Each test will be given on a separate day. We will provide extra #2 pencils and snacks.

7. Feb. 20 th (Wed.)…Math Feb. 21 st (Thurs.)…Reading Feb. 27 th (Wed.)…Science Feb. 28 th (Thurs.)…History 8:00 - 12:00

8. April 2 nd (Tues.)…Math April 3 rd (Wed.)…Reading April 24 th (Wed.)…Science April 25 th (Thurs.)…History *If absent, students will test before the end of the day on Friday.

9. Math- May 14 & June 25 Reading- May 15 & June 26

10. After school tutorials begin Feb. 12 th and will go until March 21 st. If your child has been selected to attend…please sign the pink form & return it to school ASAP. This time is very valuable! We will review concepts/topics that will be covered on the test.
