3.  Based on the video from Tuesday, what adjectives would you use to describe the situation in France in 1789, and why?

4. A. Influence of Enlightenment Ideas 1. Now people were questioning the place of the Church and government, and developing new ideas about the rights of the people (ex: Locke) 2. People were inspired by the American Revolution.
