7 A Brief Introduction Statue of Liberty, is a gift given to the United States by France in the late 19th century. The full name of it is “the bronze statue of liberty national monument”. It is 92 meters tall, standing at Liberty Island in the mouth of the Hudson River in New York Harbor. It was completed on October 28, 1886. It is one of the symbols of America.

9 A Brief Introduction Sydney Opera House is situated in Sydney Harbour. It’s one of the most famous performing arts centers in the world. It was opened on October 20, 1973.

10 Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben)

11 A Brief Introduction Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London. It was officially called the Clock Tower. It was renamed Elizabeth Tower in 2012 to mark the queen’s 60th year on the British throne. The tower was completed in 1859. It has become one of the most famous symbols of both London and England.

13 A Brief Introduction Canadian National Tower, also known as CN Tower, is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was completed in 1976. It is 553.3 meters (1,815 ft) tall. As a symbol of Canada, it is the tallest free-standing structure (独立式的建筑物) in the world, attracting more than two million international visitors every year.

The existing ruins of the Great Wall was built in the 14th Century of Ming Dynasty. As one of the Eight Wonders in the world, the Great Wall has become the symbol of the Chinese nation and its culture.
