5 KanderSki16 Scout rules apply: – CRB’d leaders – Permits (Scouting adventure activity system) – CT skied 35 years, snowboarded 8 years Driving rules: – Full Mini bus driving licence (PSV – D1) – Tachograph and drivers hours rules

6 The Money Costs - £600 includes: – Travel by mini bus (Euro Tunnel) – Accommodation – Food – Ski equipment hire – Lift Pass – Lessons 4 x ½ day – Insurance (Scout insurance services) Excludes: Pocket money

7 Travel - Outbound Saturday – 8am leave Doncaster by Mini bus – 1pm Ashford and the Euro Tunnel – 8pm Metz – Formula 1 hotel (3 per room) Sunday – 7am depart Metz – 2pm Arrive KISC

8 Travel - Return Saturday – 12am depart KISC – 7pm Arrive Namur/Metz, F1 hotel Sunday – 8am depart Namur/Metz – 2pm Callais – 10pm Doncaster

9 Monday to Friday Ski or Snowboard lessons 9am – 12.00 1pm – 4pm Practice makes perfect – Kandersteg – small resort – 2 nd area Sunnbuel (Friday afternoon) Lauchernalp – for better skiers – Train/bus each day (9am to 6pm) – Massive

10 Food Self cater – Breakfast – Packed lunch (or money equivalent) – 4 x evening meals Pizza night Schnitzel night

11 Accidents Do happen – Average 1 break every other trip – Average 1 or 2 sprains/twists per trip – Protective clothing helps (wrists)
