2. Maine Agent/Company Educational Conference The general purpose of our conference was to provide our attendees with a comprehensive agenda balancing education, networking and promotion of the Maine insurance industry.

3. By The Numbers Young Agent attendees increased by about 40% from the prior year. Budget around $3,000 for the event Range of attendees including YAC committee members, non-committee young agents, non- young agents, company partners, vendors and local students.

6. Conference Highlights “Young Agents….Past, Present & Future” – Insurance & Risk Management students – Invest students – Maine Insurance professionals including agency principals, company CEOs, young agents, producers, claims adjusters, underwriters and actuaries.

7. Conference Highlights “Young Agents….Past, Present & Future” – Round table discussions (like speed dating) – Provided opportunity for industry professionals to share experiences and students to ask questions – Goal is to promote youth in the insurance industry as aging population currently

Conference Promotion As we are a “small” state, we have a very tight-knit industry – Approachable, known agency Principals and company CEOs who we can appeal to for support – Asked for Principals and CEOs individual support as added incentive to get involved – Shared how our goal of promoting youth in the insurance industry would benefit them
