11 Directories : Corporate Directory 1. Use the navigator bar to move to ‘Corporate Directory’ and press the Select soft key. 1. Use the navigator bar to move to the Last Name field. 2. Enter letters (like for cell phone) for your last name. 3. Press the Search soft key.

12 Spelling Name… Press the keypad the number of times for which place the letter appears. example: for ‘b’ press ‘2’ twice (This is similar to what you do on a cell phone) To backup and erase… Use the < < soft key

21 Single Line Phone Volume Bar Ringer Volume Press to adjust Voice Volume Press to adjust voice volume. Press Save soft key to keep volume setting for all following calls.

28 Returning to Held Call When the handset was put on the cradle after hold, and/or When you have multiple calls hanging on… 1. First… Press the Line button. 2. If you don’t have the call… Navigate and highlight the call you want. 3. Then… Press Resume soft key Lift the handset if you don’t want your call to be on speaker.

29 Announce Transfer While on call… 1. Press Transfer 2. Dial 3. Announce the call 4. Press Transfer again “Sandwich technique”

30 Blind Transfer While on call… 1. Press Transfer 2. Dial 3. Press Transfer To CANCEL: Press End Call, then Resume

31 Transfer Using the Directory While on with the caller, (do not put the caller on hold) 1. Find your party in ‘Corporate Directory’ 2. Press DIAL soft key 3. Press Transfer 4. Announce the transfer, if desired 5. Press Transfer again

32 Send a Quick Voice Mail Message To Dial Directly to Voice Mail… Press: * Then enter:

34 Conference Make call to first party then… 1. Press More soft key, then ConFrn soft key 2. Dial the next number 3. Press ConFrn soft key again to join all together Repeat steps 1-3 to add another party.

35 Conference ‘Controller’ Only the Conference Controller can add & remove a party of a conference. Once the Controller has hung up the conference, the conference is over. Unless, there is one remaining participant who is on the Cisco system.

36 Conference ‘Participants’ All participants who are on the conference can view the conference list of participants. Update soft key allows you to refresh your screen to reflect the real time participants.

37 Establishing a MEET-Me Conference: Meet-Me Conferences allow people to have virtual group meetings over the phone. A Meet-Me conference is to be established from an IP Phone: Meet-Me Conference Codes = XXXX - XXXX  Lift handset and Press More and Meet-Me soft keys  Enter a Meet-Me Conference Number [See above]  Join a Meet-Me Conference: Lift handset and dial the Meet-Me Conference number  Number of Meet-Me Participants are 6  Note: External callers will have to be transferred into the Meet-Me conference from an internal extension. This was created this way by design to restrict access from external callers.

41 Messages: Retrieving Voice Mail 1. Press Messages (envelope button) 2. First time enter password… 12345# If you have more than one extension on your phone… You may need to first press the extension button before you begin.

47 Listen to Voice Mail Messages The Voice Message is a called a‘.wav’ file.To Open: Double click on the attachment and your media playerwill open. This will automaticallytrigger your message to play. Make sure that your volume is on yourPC. Important Note : If you mark your voice mail email as “read” yourMessage Light Indicator Light willgo off and you will not be able tolisten to that voice mail on yourphone. In order for the voice mail tobe added back to your phone markthe email as “unread”.

52 Single Number Reach The Single Number Reach (SNR) feature allows users to answer incoming calls to their extension on either their desktop IP phone or at a remote destination, such as a mobile phone. Users can pick up active calls on the desktop phone or the remote phone without losing the connection. This enables callers to dial a single number to reach the phone user. Calls that are not answered can be forwarded to voice mail.

53 Single Number Reach The IP phone user has these options for handling calls to the SNR extension: Pull back the call from the remote phone - Phone user can manually pull back the call to the SNR extension by pressing the Resume soft key, which disconnects the call from the remote phone. Send the call to remote phone - Phone user can send the call to the remote phone by using the Mobility soft key. While connected to the call, the phone user can press the Mobility soft key and select "Send call to mobile." The call is forwarded to the remote phone. Enable or disable Single Number Reach - While the IP phone is in the idle state, the user can toggle the SNR feature on and off by using the Mobility soft key. If the user disables SNR, Cisco Unified CME does not ring the remote number.

57 Single Number Reach Once logged into the ccmuser page, Go to User Options  Mobility Settings  Remote Destinations

58 Single Number Reach Once you are in you “Remote Destinations”, you will see the numbers that are setup for Single Number Reach. Click on the one you want to modify OR click “Add New” to add another entry.

59 Single Number Reach From here you can change the number or modify the “Ring Schedule” for this particular remote number.

60 Single Number Reach If you just want to disable this number from SNR, uncheck the Mobile Phone and Enable Mobile Connect check boxes. If you have multiple extensions, the left side will show the extensions associated with your profile. Check the box next to the “Line” in order to associate the Remote Destination with the phones extension.

61 Single Number Reach Once all your settings are made, click the “Save” icon to save your settings. Note: Check with your administrator on whether or not you need to add your outside access number+1 before the destination number, i.e.
