2 Use this helper to guide you through the key features of your phone. To transfer without announcing - press the [Trans/Conf] button, dial the extension number & replace the handset to complete the transfer. To transfer & announce - press the [Trans/Conf] button, dial the extension number & wait for an answer, announce the call & then replace the handset. If no answer or can’t take the call, press the [Cancel] button to return to the call. Note: If you are using a headset press the [Release] key to complete the transfer. Mitel 5212 Show me

To take a call off hold press the flashing Prime Line key. Only one call can be active at a time. The Prime key is lit when there is a call on hold. Mitel 5212 Show me

Press the Blue [Superkey] & press # until you see “Call Forwarding” in the display, press * for yes. Select the type of call forward you wish to use e.g. Always, B-Int, B-Ext, NA-Int, NA-Ext Press * to review and * to program. You can now enter the call forward number (for voicemail enter 35100). Press the down arrow key to save. To activate the call forward, use a pre- programmed key or, after saving the call forward, press * to change and # to turn on. to forward a call Mitel 5212 Show me

7 To find a phone number press the Blue [Superkey] & * for Phonebook. Enter the first 2 or 3 characters of the persons name. To access Voice Mail press dial 35100. Enter your default pass code, this is: 1234 The tutorial will ask you to: - Change your password (to a 4 digit number) Record a mailbox name eg: Chris Jones Record a greeting You will not be able to listen to any messages until you have completed the tutorial. to listen to messages to use voice mail Mitel 5212 Show me

To listen to your messages: - Press the lit [Message Waiting] button then press # to call voice mail. Put in your password & follow the instructions. Press 7 to listen to a new message. 10 To conference a call, during a call, press the [Trans/Conf] button.
