2 Studio Cambridge - An Overview Studio Cambridge is the oldest English Language School in Cambridge, England We are not part of a chain of schools; we are privately owned and managed We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of International Association of Language Centres (IALC), English UK and Education UK Our main school is located only 10 minutes by foot from Cambridge city centre and just 400 metres from the train station

3 Junior Camps All our junior camps include the following: At least 15 or 21 hours of English tuition per week Accommodation (residential or homestay or both) All meals Activities Excursions (except for Sir George which are optional and at additional cost) Airport transfers from/to Heathrow or Stansted on Sundays Insurance

4 Sir Michael Camp Overview For students aged 14 - 17 years old Course located at Studio Main School in Cambridge 15 hours of English tuition per week Afternoon and evening activities each week Choice of Homestay or Residential accommodation 1 full-day excursion per week Maximum capacity of 400 students at one time Great location only ten minutes' walk from Cambridge city centre and 400m from the train station The perfect programme for enjoying Cambridge Our most popular course, running for over 35 years

5 Sir Michael Course Centre Located at Studio Main School in Cambridge Based in two large Victorian Villas near Cambridge Station Residences within 10 minutes' walk Host families within 30 minutes' travel (by bus, bike or foot) Students eat breakfast and dinner with their host or in the residential dining hall, with lunch in Café Studio Largest summer centre, but remains personal and friendly Great mix of students from around the world Sports facilities can be found ten minutes' walk from the school, including a swimming pool, sports pitches and a gym Common rooms in residences Computer room with free email access in school Welfare, accommodation and central staff offices in school

7 Sir Michael Accommodation Residential rooms shared by two or more students of the same sex which are spacious, clean and comfortable Homestay rooms shared by two students of the same sex, sharing living facilities with host family Several residential buildings all within walking distance of school Shared bathrooms and showers All meals provided at school, in the residence, or by the host Free laundry facilities Change of bed linen once per week Students must return to the residence or host by 23:00 latest

8 Sir Michael Course Content 15 or 21 hours of English lessons per week Classes in the morning of week one and in the afternoons of week two Course materials provided Certificate and end of course report upon completion of course 2 hours of activities per day for four days each week Evening activities 7 days per week for residential students and 3 days a week for homestay students Activities office and staff Excellent welfare staff 1 full-day excursion per week on a Saturday
