Content Requirement Options, Music and Spanish Most content area applicants will meet the requirement either by: 1. proving 24 semester hours, of college level coursework in the content area, from a regionally accredited college or university, using a transcript evaluation worksheet (phone Western to order, $40, ph. 970-943-2030). or by 2. passing the appropriate content exam. 4. Content Evaluation Worksheet All courses must be represented, on the worksheet, in order to use the evaluation of transcripts, to prove content. If all coursework is not present, you may: – take and pass the appropriate content exam, to meet the requirement. – take the college level courses that are lacking, before the application deadline, of July 15. All Elementary and Special Ed. applicants are required to pass the Praxis II #0014/5014 or PLACE #01 CLD and Principal applicants do not have a content exam, prior to entering the program.
