5 Recommendations to the authors 1. Language The LEFIS Series is published in English, preferably, by the Zaragoza University Press. 2. Indications for the layout Each paper is expected to be 25 pages DIN A4 long, around 7.000 words in length with a margin of plus or minus 1,000 words. The originals should be sent in Microsoft Word format by electronic mail to Pilar Lasala (lasala@unizar.es). All the figures in the document must be sent separately. Single rather than double quotation marks should be used. Names of cases should appear in italics with the full reference as a footnote if the case name appears in the text. Headings should appear as follows: 1 Main heading: 1.1 Sub-heading 1.1.1 Sub-subheading Headings below the sub-subheading level are discouraged. If absolutely necessary they should appear in italics without any numbering. Footnotes should be numbered consecutively and should not be embedded within the text. References may be included in the footnotes or at the text end. Journal articles should be cited as follows: Reed, `EC Antitrust Law and the Exploitation of Intellectual Property Rights in Software' (1992) Jur. J. 431. Books should be cited as: Tapper, Computer Law (Longman: London 1989) Web pages should be cited including the visit date: http://www.lefis.org/ (visited 25-may-07) 3. Model You can use the Model.doc document for Word as a starting point to write your paper. In this document you can find the model for footnotes and references. 4. Proofs and offprints Authors will receive proofs of their article for correction. No major changes are permissible at this stage and alterations should be limited to typographical errors only. Authors should return corrected proofs to the editor within 48 hours of receipt.
