5 Mobile Phone – Don’t give your personal mobile phone number to students or their parents; – Don’t leave it lying around where students can get hold of it; – Don’t communicate with students via their mobile phones by text message. Areas of Risk

6 Email – Don’t give your personal email address to students or their parents; – Make sure boxes that “remember me” are not checked; – Never leave your email account open on your desktop; – Avoid printing emails: they often get left behind! Areas of Risk

7 Social Networking – Never add students as “friends” on Facebook etc.; – Avoid posting photographs – Be aware that other people can post photographs of you; – NEVER accept the default settings on Facebook! Areas of Risk
