10 Trafalgar Square Trafalgar Square is a square in London that commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars. The square, a popular site for political demonstrations, is the site of Nelson's Column as well as other statues and sculptures of note. The square is a popular tourist spot in London, and used to be particularly famous for its pigeons (Rock Pigeons). Feeding the pigeons was a popular activity with Londoners and tourists. The flock, estimated at its peak to be 35,000, was considered to be a health hazard. On 10 September 2007 the byelaws were secured sealing an outright ban on feeding birds in area of the square.

The London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year. A breathtaking feat of design and engineering, passengers in the London Eye's capsules can see up to 40 kilometres in all directions. The London Eye can carry 800 passengers per revolution - equivalent to 11 London red doubled-decker buses The height of the London Eye is 135m

13 Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch.[1] The palace is a setting for state occasions and royal entertaining, and a major tourist attraction. Buckingham Palace finally became the principal Royal residence in 1837 on the accession of Queen Victoria.

14 Tower of London UNESCO World Heritage Site
Video One of the most famous castle keeps in the world, it was built, to awe, subdue and terrify Londoners and to deter foreign invaders. It’s now an iconic symbol of London and Britain and one of the world’s premier tourist attractions. The ‘Beefeaters’, as they are nicknamed, have long been symbols of London and Britain. It is thought their nickname is derived from their position in the Royal Bodyguard, which permitted them to eat as much beef as they wanted from the king's table. Yeoman Warders are required to have served in the armed forces with an honourable record for at least 22 years.

15 Westminster Abbey The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place of seventeen monarchs.

17 Windsor Palace Windsor Castle was originally built by William the Conqueror, who reigned from 1066 until his death in 1087. The earliest surviving buildings at Windsor date from the reign of Henry II who came to the throne in 1154. In 1952, Queen Elizabeth II came to the throne and decided to make Windsor her principal weekend retreat. The private apartments ("D") which had not been properly occupied since the era of Queen Mary were renovated and further modernised, and the Queen, Prince Philip and their (then) two children took up residence. This arrangement has continued to the present day.

18 Tower Bridge Tower Bridge is still a busy and vital crossing of the Thames: it is crossed by over 40,000 people (motorists and pedestrians) every day. The bascules are raised around 1000 times a year.
