Starting Your Prezi First, you must sign up for a free Prezi account by entering your name, email and a personal password.

Your Prezi Home Page This is where you can view your previous or saved Prezi and create a new Prezi

Choose a Template Choose a blank canvas or choose a template that fits the needs of your presentation

A Blank Prezi Here, you can create your own Prezi. This is what a blank Prezi looks like. Notice the tool in the center of your Prezi. You will use this scaling tool to add text, slides, video and pictures.

Adding Text to Your Prezi First, click the “zoom” button on the left side of the screen to zoom into your scaling tool. The “zoom” button looks like a magnifying glass with a “+” in the middle.

Adding Text, Video and Pictures Double click on your slide to add content Choose what you would like to add to your Prezi and how you would like your slide to appear. Slides can be circular or square You can add pictures or video on the menu bar

Adding Text Double click to add text. A text box will appear and you can type your content. You can manipulate the text on the tool bar as you would in a Word or PowerPoint program. When you are done, click “ok”

Scaling Tool Left click once on your text to see the scaling tool. The scaling tool allows you to make your text larger, smaller and allows you to rotate or move the text.

Making Text Larger or Smaller By left clicking the “+” button located at the top of your scaling tool, you can make your text larger. The more you click, the larger your text will appear. By left clicking the “-” button located at the bottom of your scaling tool, you can make your text smaller. The more you click, the smaller your text will appear.

Rotate Text The outer dashes that surround the scaling tool are to rotate your text. By left clicking and holding you can rotate your text any way that you would like.

Move Text By left clicking and holding the hand button in the center of your scaling tool, you can move your text anywhere you would like. You can move your text at anytime by clicking the text once, clicking the hand button and holding the left mouse button to move the text.
