2 Do Now What is the Land Like Around the School? In your Composition book draw a small square to represent the school. Choose a word to describe the land near the school, such as flat, hilly or rolling and write it next to the square. Make four squares surround the school to represent north (towards Slauson), south (Manchester), east (Florence) and west (LaCienga). What is the area like 1km (less than a mile) in each direction?

3 Homework In your composition under the header Quiz Improvements. Write out any question you got wrong and bring it back signed by your parents (Due Friday). Reading and Note taking Guide – Page 19- 25, Exploring the Earth’s Surface, Complete what wasn’t done in class. (Due Tuesday)
