1 What causes the seasons on Earth?

2 What causes the seasons on Earth?
Earth’s tilted axis (23.5) Earth’s revolution around the sun When the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the sun we have summer. When the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the sun we have winter.

3 June Earth’s axis is tilted toward the sun so the Northern Hemisphere experiences longer daylight than darkness. Direct rays and more hours of sunlight heat the surface of the Northern Hemisphere in June more than any other time  summer Indirect rays in the Southern Hemisphere cause daylight to be shorter than darkness. Indirect rays and fewer hours of sunlight heat the surface of the Southern Hemisphere less than any other time of year  winter

4 In December, it is the opposite!
The Southern Hemisphere receives the most direct sunlight  summer The Northern Hemisphere receives fewer hours of daylight  winter
