2 What is NDSEG?  A highly competitive, portable fellowship awarded to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a doctoral degree in a STEM discipline.  The program is administered by the NDSEG Program Team at the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).

3 Why NDSEG?  The Department of Defense (DoD) is committed to increasing the number and quality of our nation's scientists and engineers.  Three DoD agencies sponsor NDSEG Fellows including: (1) Air Force, (2) Army, (3) and Navy.

4 Benefits of the Program  Full tuition and mandatory fee coverage at any accredited U.S. institution  $1,000 Medical Health Insurance Allowance  Generous stipend of $102,000 over 36 months

5 Eligibility 1. Citizenship  Must be a U.S. Citizen or National 2. Discipline  Research must fit under one of the supported disciplines 3. Academic Status  Must be near or in the beginning stages of overall graduate study 4. Ability to Accept  Must intend to pursue a doctoral degree & start tenure in Fall of the year awarded

This includes general GRE scores, transcripts, and letters of reference.
