3 Introduction I’ve always thought that boys could run faster than girls, but can they run faster when they are running at a longer distance?I’ve always thought that boys could run faster than girls, but can they run faster when they are running at a longer distance?

10 Conclusion My hypothesis was correct! I took the average of the girls’ results and got 1:5875 minutes. Then I took the average of the boys’ results and got 1:35 minutes. The boys ran faster than the girls. Some possible causes of error were that some people might not have been feeling their best the day that they ran, some could have cheated, and the finish line might not have been in the same place all of the time. I observed that the boys all wanted to run the fastest. The girls just wanted to run and did it because I asked them to. Other girls were commpetitive and wanted to be the fastest. My hypothesis was correct! I took the average of the girls’ results and got 1:5875 minutes.
