6 - UNECE Statistical Division Slide 626.4.2009 Conclusions  Including the GPG based on hourly data in the database broadens the understanding of GPG. UNECE will continue to update the series.  Differences noted in the earnings definitions used in countries suggest that countries make an attempt to adhere to the standards on earnings statistics.  The current GPG data are not sufficient to understand the causes of GPG. This will require data with more detailed breakdown.
