2 Introduction mTV Anytime Forum founded in 1999 mGoal: Creation of an open public standard applicable in postproduction, distribution, consumption and interaction of DTV content mSeveral working groups mVarious aspects of standardization ëBusiness models, system, transport interfaces, content referencing, metadata, rights management and protection

3 TV-Anytime Concept mTV-Anytime will allow viewers to watch the programmes they want, in the way they want, and when they want mTV-Anytime viewers will be able to explore and acquire TV content from a variety of sources, including traditional broadcast and new on-line interactive services – for presentation at any time mTV-Anytime will combine the immediacy of television with the flexibility of the Internet
