4 GENERAL STATUS OF AGRICULTURE SECTOR 1.The average contribution of the agricultural sector to GDP reached 10,26% with growth of around 3,90% in 2014 the agricultural sector absorbed about 35.76 million, or about 30,2% of the total workforce 2.Investment in primary agriculture sector domestic and foreign investment grew on average by 4,2% and 18,6% per year 3.Agricultural import-export ratio about 10 to 4, with the growth rate of exports reached 7,4% and import growth of 13,1% per year 4.Balance of trade with positive growth rate of 4,2% per year, 5.The number of households farming in Indonesia, 26.14 million households, a decrease of 16,32 percent from the Census Agriculture, 2003 were recorded at 31,23 million households 6.Number the rural poor are mostly engaged in the agricultural sector decreased at a rate of 3,69% / year or decreases of approximately 19,93 million in 2010 to 17,14 million in 2014, Sources: MOA Strategic Plan 2015-2019
