1 Moodle 2.8.5 - Introduction Here at Alphacrucis College we have been using Moodle version 2 for several years. The latest version to be installed is 2.8.5. At the same time we have decided to switch to the in-built Moodle theme “More” which is flexible and similar to the previous theme. This theme can be used by mobile devices as well as desktop PCs. The following presentation introduces the basic features of Moodle 2.8.5 to users who may be unfamiliar with Moodle. Extensive details of what this version of Moodle contains can be found at the Moodle web site: http://moodle.org.http://moodle.org

2 There are two columns: Main and Navigation Blocks. Moodle 2.8.5 – Main Page

3 Moodle 2.8.5 – Login You would have received your username (normally your Student Number) and password by email. If this is your first login (or your temporary password has been reset) you will need to enter a new password. The “Lost password?” facility will only work if you have supplied a valid email address. The alternative is send a request to moodle@ac.edu.au.moodle@ac.edu.au
