2 Overview Regional economy impacts Arlington Desirable location + great services + high wage jobs = pressure on housing costs Changing demographics – wealthier, etc. Housing reflects demand of high wage households (rental & ownership) 2

Economy & desirability will continue to put pressure on all housing types The market is reflecting the needs of higher income and higher educated households 11
