2 What is Rotary Friendship Exchange? - Rotary Friendship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotarians and Rotary couples. -It provides participants with the opportunity to experience other cultures by staying in the homes of Rotarians, visiting their clubs and participating in the life style/activities of their communities. Goals The goals of the exchange are: - To advance international understanding and peace through visits across borders. - To promote interclub relationships, fellowships and service projects. - The Rotarians participating gain the opportunity to make long lasting friendships while exploring different areas of the world. The Friendship Exchange Program is one of Roary International Programs to help clubs and districts achieve service goals in their communities and communities abroad while fostering fellowship and goodwill between countries.

4 RFE Our Rotary district 2410 joined this program in 2012. During last 4 years our district has had 4 exchanges – 8 visits all together. In 2012 to Arizona, USA (D 5500) 16 -26 February - Team from Latvia-Sweden D 2410 to Arizona D 5500 26 July - 6 August - Team from Arizona to Latvia In 2013 1st RFE to Gujarat, India (D3060): 21 January - 3 February – Team from Sweden-Latvia to Gujarat D 3060 23 May - 6 June - RFE Team from Gujarat to Sweden-Latvia In 2014 2nd RFE to Gujarat, India 31 January - 10 February – Team from Sweden-Latvia to Gujarat D 3060 4 June - 15 June - Team from Gujarat to Sweden-Latvia D 2410 In 2015 2rd RFE to Gujarat, India 31 January – 11 February - Team from Sweden-Latvia to Gujarat D 3060 27 May - 8 June - RFE Team from Gujarat to Sweden-Latvia

6 Next exchange - RFE Team visit to Mexico in 2016. Outbound from Sweden/Latvia D 2410 to Mexico D 4110 – March 11-22, 2016. Inbound RFE team from Mexico D 4110 – May 7-18, 2016. Mexico District 4110. This is the largest district in Mexico, which is made up of 5 beautiful states, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas. It will be a great possibility to get to know Mexico and its culture, history, traditions and people better. RFE Team consists of 8-10 people (can be single rotarians or couples).
