4 Purpose Provide a dynamic forum for the SOF components and global SOF network partners to explore opportunities and challenges related to the Arctic Identify and capture the special operations implications, challenges, risks, opportunities, and capability requirements for SOF operations in the Arctic Identify SOF Arctic requirements to the USSOCOM strategic planning process 4 UNCLASSIFIED

5 BADGE PROCEDURES 1.All Badges issued by the NORAD/NORTHCOM are controlled items and are accountable 2. All badges must be displayed above the waist on outer most garment and in clear sight 3. At no time will badges issued by N-NC Security leave the building. The only exception is during a building evacuation. In this case do not display the badge outside of the building and follow the direction of the conference POC or security guard 4. In the event of a building evacuation, maintain control of your badge, evacuate the building in a calm and orderly manner, and take instructions from the conference representative. If possible take you belongings with you, no one will be allowed to re-enter the building until cleared by higher authority. 5. If you leave for a short break (smoke break or cell phone use, etc) you may turn your badge into the security desk IF the POC is not readily available for the departure and return. Remember your badge number and you will get the same badge back when you return. If you’re gone for a longer period you must turn in your badge to the POC at the doors. 5 UNCLASSIFIED

6 BADGE PROCEDURES 6. The doors in Building 2 are secured and alarmed. DO NOT TAILGATE OTHER PERSONNEL THROUGH THE DOORS. Do not activate the red emergency exit buttons at the doors to exit the building unless there is an emergency, doing this may also cause you to be detained by Security Guards. 7. The East Entrance will be reserved for the use of conference attendees but you still must follow the instructions of the Security Guard on duty to ensure that security protocol is being followed. 8. All bags will be inspected by Security Guards each time they are brought back into the building even if the bag was checked earlier in the day. Please note the prohibited items sign at the door. At the discretion of the Physical Security Office, bags may be spot checked upon exit of the building as well. 9. Laptops and cell phones not belonging to N/NC are not allowed into the building without a letter from an approved security manager. Security Guards are not authorized to hold on to any of these items for any personnel. 6 UNCLASSIFIED
