2. Project Goal  Create a test program that can verify the TV is outputting the correct IR signals to VCR and DVD that are connected through IR blaster cable  4 different VCR and DVD brands will be tested

3. Requirements  Two modes: Database mode and Test mode  Database mode Receive signal from TV, analyze, and store its characteristic Allow operator to designate a “name” Signal begins on the first signal transition and ends after 1s of no transitions

13. Operational concept  Sample 4 different DVD and VCR brands : Toshiba Panasonic JVC Sony  Theaternet Sample 8 functions for each DVD brand (Power, Play, Stop, FF, REW, Pause, Skip, Search) Each test function will be sampled 3 times (3 rep/test)
