No signal after the Set #2 monitor ? (at the DVI cable’s daisy chain mode) 2. Analyze First, you should check whether contents is protected from HDCP. The DVI Out port does not support HDCP. so when the tile mode is configured via DVI cables, only the monitor that receives first signals can play HDCP-encrypted content. If contents is protected from HDCP, you should connect with DVI distributor Not support the HDCP–encrypted content through daisy chain Display the HDCP – encrypted content by DVI distributor OK No display SET SET SET SET SET 1 SET 2 DVI HDCP- encrypted content SET 4 SET 3 DVI out DVI out DVI out DVI out No display No display DVI PC or Media Player DVI Distributor * HDCP(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) – A form of digital copy protection developed by Intel Corporation.

5. IR/RS232C/RJ45 control Case Study 1. Problem & Issue
Power on / off problem when using RS232C control ? 1.Issue : RS232C “Power on command” is OK, but “Power off command” is NG. 2.Cause : imagine such as below case. - Control System baud rate : 9600 - S7 IC ( video processor main IC) baud rate : if you change the baud rate of Signage, it’ll be changed - Sub Micom IC Baud rate : 9600( it’s fixed value, not adjustable) When you send command “ Power on” or “ Power off”, those command path are different as below the red and blue line. that’s the reason of that issue 3. Solving : Change the baud rate 9600 Signage S7 IC Baud rate:115200 (adjustable value) It doesn’t work “Power off" command Power off command path Both Baud rate are not matched Control System Baud rate: 9600 “Power on” command Sub Micom IC Baud rate:9600 (Fixed value) Power on command path Both Baud rate are matched
