New, better and more efficient things are created every day Each year automobiles receive technological improvements. New sports shoes are designed. Video games change with each version. Share some new technology you use (such as toys, games, clothes and food.) – Do you like the new products better than the previous ones. Why or why not?

Computer- THEN Computers were used to enter information. The monitor was black and the writing was green. There was no internet.

Television - THEN Had to watch TV in real time Black and white screen No remote Only 6 channels

Television - NOW Can pause live TV Real life color in High Definition Remote control Hundreds of channels

Movies - THEN You had to go to the movie store- hope that your movie was there. Bring it home. Watch it and bring it back to the store the next day.

Movies - Now You can watch movies instantly On Demand or on Netflix.

Music - THEN You bought a record, cassette tape or CD. You played them on record players which had to be plugged in or large boom boxes which took 8 batteries.

Music - NOW You can download music onto your MP3 player, computer or phone. The devices are very small, portable and can fit in your pocket.

Camera - THEN After pictures were taken, they were developed in a dark room- this could take hours. You could not view the picture until it was developed.

Camera - NOW After you take a picture you can view it immediately and decide to keep it or not. You can upload the photos to your computer in minutes. You can even take decent pictures on your phone.
