They make you breath and it is the thing that lets you move. 3.It is made up of the muscle that let you move 5. It has the same number of motor units involved in contraction and the amount of stimulus from the nervous system.

Epidemiologist 1.One muscular disease is the Tetanus 2.The only name for this disease is Tetanus 3.Was discovered in 1884 4.Symptoms are commonly: Spasms, Stiff jaw muscles, Fever, elevated blood pressure, etc.. 5.The organs effected would be the stomach and intestines 6.Stiffness in certain muscles can occur thus limiting your activeness 7.This can be fatal. In fact 20% of patients die from this disease 8.To prevent this disease, you can do one of these: The Tetanus vaccination, take certain Antibiotics, be hospitalized or aggressive wound care

5. Epidemiologist 1.Another muscle disease is Muscular Dystrophy 2.Other names include: “DM”, Dystrophia Myotonica, Myotonic Dystrophy, and Steinert Disease 3.Discovered by a German doctor in 1909 4. For Children Symptoms are: unusual behaviors, decision making, and planning ahead 5.The organ affected is the heart 6. This is a physically limiting disease, It is also mentally limiting as well 7. This disease is fatal 8. There is no cure for Muscular Dystrophy but treatments are: Physical Therapy, And heart medications

Surgeon  One out of two of the procedures are Strabismus Surgery.  The earliest successful procedure was done on October 26, 1839.  The first person to perform this procedure was Dieffenbach and he was from Germany.  In adults it restores normal appearance and is considered reconstructive. It helps improve depth perception or binocular vision, improved visual fields, eliminating or minimizing double vision and improved social function.  This procedure is not a result of a disease or illness.  It doesn’t affect any other organisms.  The eye that is wrong or looking the other way wouldn't be fixed and it would stay the same way. You wouldn’t be able to see clearly.

Surgeon  The second procedure is referred as Arthroplasty.  The first time it was performed was in the 1960’s.  The first person to perform this procedure was John Charley.  The purpose of this procedure is to restore the integrity and function of a joint.  It’s a joint disease called osteoarthritis.  It affects the lungs and legs because blood clots can form in them.  If this procedure wasn’t performed then the joint in a leg or shoulder (etc.) wouldn’t be able to move.

The digestive system breaks down food and spreads nutrients to the cells 5. The urinary system depletes the body and the cells’ waste 6. Two types of doctors for the muscular system are: Orthopedic Surgeon and Podiatrist 7. The Orthopedic Surgeon offers surgeries to joints, muscles, and bones The Podiatrist treats diseases and disorders affecting the ankle and foot muscles
