7. Write each fraction as a percent. 3  100 = 8  x 300 = 8x 37.5 = x So, ⅜=37.5% ⅜ ⅜ = 3 ÷ 8 0.375 = 37.5%

8. Write each fraction as a percent. 2  100 = 3  x 200 = 3x 66.6 = x So, ⅔ =66.6% ⅔ ⅔ = 2 ÷ 3 0.666 = 66.6%

Is the area of the deserts of Earth more of less than the area of North America? Compare Numbers Write as a percent. = 0.15. Multiply by 100 and add percent symbol. = 15% Since 15% is less than 16%, the area of the deserts on Earth is just slightly less than the area of North America.
