2 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm Evaluations All evaluations must be completed in a timely manner. –To achieve, you must start early. –Be sure to use Eval checklist. –We never know who will be doing the test. –Be sure everything is in the folder. –As of End of Year, evaluation will be part of Teacher Evaluations.

5 Infinite Campus Updates Copy Feature –Should only be used to amend a current IEP –Should not be used to develop a new IEP Fetch Classroom Teachers now loads schedule from active school year Be sure to have regular teacher rights as view only to ensure they can view IEP’s 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

6 Child Count Issues All errors must be completed by 11-30 to receive funding from KDE. The names at the top are OK. The names at the bottom have an error as of 11-30-10. Errors must be completed to receive funding. 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

7 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm Child Count Errors Each special education provider shall verify every child on their caseload is on child count list emailed to their school. Please call if someone is not on the list. Typically the following errors are most common: –Unlocked IEP, ESR’s, incomplete ESR’s, enrollment status in IEP. –Or, a combination of the above. –Examples

8 KDE Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Update Student Specific instances of non- compliance were completed yesterday. 23 evaluations and 3 transition. It was a job. 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

10 CAP Systemic Issues (E & LRE) Quarterly, the district shall provide written documentation to the DECS Team leader. This documentation shall include, but is not limited to copies of ARC evaluation planning meeting summaries, evaluation reports, eligibility determination meeting documents and revised IEPs. 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

11 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm The district will develop a systemic process for reporting evaluation and eligibility data to parents. – This process shall include the development of reports, monitoring of report for initial evaluation and reevaluation purposes, and collection of data to ensure compliance. –Any separate reports written by related service personnel be referenced in the overall report. –Parents shall be provided a copy of the evaluation.

12 The district must develop a system to train, monitor, and provide feedback on a regular basis to teachers in order to ensure all due process requirements are completed correctly, updated at least annually, and meets all regulatory requirements. –Teachers/providers will be evaluated annually on Timely and accurate IEP’s and Evaluations. 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

13 –The district must submit a district plan as well as a calendar of training, monitoring, and feedback to the team lead updated with each quarterly report. –Documentation of routine due process monitoring and documentation of feedback (consisting of both district and cooperative level finding) must be submitted to team lead with quarterly reports. 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm

14 RTI Documentation Required –A minimum of 2/equivalent universal screens –Relevant Research Based Interventions Based on individual weaknesses supported by data –Progress monitoring bi weekly (CHARTED) –Pre approval required before referral meeting Data (In hand) –Copies of all referrals sent to KDE 12/15/2015LCBE/gcm
