2 The HeForShe CONCEPTHeForShe HeForShe has been developed by UN Women to engage men and boys as advocates and agents of change for the achievement of gender equality and women’s rights. The campaign encourages to speak out and take action against inequalities faced by women and girls.

3 The movement for gender equality was originally conceived as a struggle led only by women for women.

4 In recent years men have begun to stand-up in addressing the inequalities and discrimination faced by women and girls.
