4. In the Beginning Serieteket launched a new way of organizing its collections by genre instead of the Swedish classification system. Serieteket participated in a youth employment programme. 17 youths in 3 years

5. Phase Two In October 1999 Serieteket moves to Kulturhuset in central Stockholm. Greatly improved location. Better exhibition spaces. We start working with ”Fanzine Heaven” that later became ”Small Press Expo”.

6. Hard Facts Collection of about 12 000 albums The largest selection in Sweden of books about comics, their history and cartoon art 25 magazine subscriptions + Historical archive Comics in 15 different languages Approximately 100 000 visitors and 40 000 loans per annum
