8. See it and Hear it The next time you hear a sound try to imagine what the spectrogram would look like. It is a high-pitched sound or a low rumble? Does the sound rise or fall in pitch? 9. Practice Spectrograms Can you sound out these bird calls just by reading the spectogram? hawk willow warbler This bird gets it’s name from its unique call. After you sound out the call, guess what bird this is. You will know it when you hear it.
