3 Define Critical Transportation Needs populations in Baldwin and Mobile Counties What groups are more likely to need transportation during evacuations? How many people are going to need transportation? Who is going to need transportation, where are they located, and what are their special needs, if any?

16  Identify, collect and disseminate current available data  Determine historical transportation-assisted evacuation populations  Identify organizations to ground truth data sets information  Meet with organizations to ground truth data sets Scope of Work

17  The locations of organizations currently providing social services to individuals with high likelihood of needing public transportation for evacuations will be displayed in a GIS point layer with available pertinent information such as: ○ Address ○ Phone ○ POC ○ Facility type  Update GIS point layer as necessary

19 Scope of Work  Review existing CTN Pre-Event Registration System and provide recommendations Process: Identify and review the registration systems currently being used by Alabama and 3 other areas. Develop set of recommendations for Alabama

20 Task Two: CTN Population Survey Develop Survey Instrument Process: Test the feasibility of using Alabama EMA’s Rapid Cast system for conducting the survey. (Backup will be telephone survey.) Develop and test survey instrument accordingly.

21 Task Two: CTN Population Survey Package Process Into System Process: Develop description of step-by-step process that can be used as a guide for any area Final Project Briefing

22 Questions for Today To what extent do you believe your clients will need evacuation transportation? What data do you have on your clients that might be useful? What would be the most useful way of sharing that data? How might your organization help in distributing transportation information?
