2. What is Queen? Queen is an English rock band made up of four people, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. Queen has made allot of songs and all of my favourite songs are by Queen. The band formed in the 1970’s.

3. Queen member profile Freddie mercury: Freddie mercury was the lead singer in the band and was born on the 5 th of September 1946 and died 24 th November 1991. Brian May: Brian may was the lead guitarist in the band and was born on the 19 th of July 1947. John Deacon: John Deacon was the bass guitarist in the band and was born on 19 th of August 1951. Roger Taylor: Roger Taylor played drums in the band and was born on the 26 th of July.

5. Why did the band break up? The band broke up because Freddie Mercury died of aids. They had an opportunity to make a new album with recordings of when Freddie was alive but they turned it down.
