9. Dictionary You are all pros at dictionary skills! Turn and whisper to your neighbor what we can look up in the dictionary. Did you say definition, syllabication, pronunciation, part of speech and word origin? You’ve got it!

10. Almanac A book that contains facts and information Published yearly (annually) Only has information from certain year Examples: Sport Stats Weather Farming Major events of a year

13. THesaurus You are all fantastic writers! So a thesaurus is the perfect tool to use to improve your word choice! A thesaurus will give you synonyms and antonyms for a word. It will also tell the part of speech. Need a new word to use instead of “good”? You know where to look!
