3 * In English, the adjective almost always comes before the noun. Ex. The serious students * In Spanish, the adjective usually comes after the noun. Ex. Los estudiantes serios (adjective) (noun) adjective noun Álamo

4 * In Spanish, an adjective must agree with the noun it describes or modifies. * If the noun is feminine, the adjective must be in the feminine form. Álamo

5 * Un muchacho gracioso. * Una muchacha graciosa. * Un alumno serio. * Una alumna seria. Álamo

6 * Adjectives that end in –e match both genders. Ex. El maestro inteligente. La maestra inteligente. Álamo
