3  The Quick Info table provides an overview of transactions handled by the logged-in user compared with all users of the brokerage.  The categories include: 1.Unsubmitted policies 2.Policies with alerts 3.Unsubmitted batches 4.Open tags  Click on the number hyperlinks to display the list of transactions that qualify under each category. ◦ Each category shows the transactions by the logged-in user and all users in the brokerage. 3 Quick Info Table 1 2 3 4

4  My Unsubmitted Policies shows the policies that the logged in user worked on.  The top section shows all the policies that have been saved but not yet batched.  The bottom section shows all policies that have been batched in SLIP but not yet submitted to the SLA. 4 My Unsubmitted Policies

5  Total Unsubmitted Policies shows the number of saved policies by all the users in the brokerage.  The top section shows the search criteria.  The bottom section shows the search results from the search criteria. 5 Total Unsubmitted Policies

6  If you need to delete a policy from your saved transactions, ◦ Enter the search criteria ◦ Click on the Policy Number hyperlink of the item you wish to delete. 6 How to Delete an Unsubmitted Policy

7 ◦ At the bottom of the View Policy screen, click the Delete Policy button. ◦ The policy will be removed from your saved list. 7 How to Delete an Unsubmitted Policy, cont.

8  The “My Policies with Alerts” hyperlink brings you to a list of your saved transactions with Alerts.  Clicking on the number hyperlink under the Alerts column will provide you with the Alert Summary. 8 My Policies with Alerts

9  The Alert Summary is a SLIP-generated list that notifies the user of possible violations that may result in tags by the Surplus Line Association of California (SLA). 9 Alert Summary

10  Total Policies with Alerts shows the number of policies with alerts saved by all the users in the brokerage.  The top section shows the search criteria and the checkbox to only display items with alerts.  The bottom section shows the search results from the search criteria. ◦ Number hyperlink displays the Alert Summary. 10 Total Policies with Alerts

11  My Unsubmitted Batches shows a list of batches that you have saved but have not submitted to the SLA.  Clicking on the SLIP Batch ID hyperlink will bring you to the View Batch screen which shows the transactions within the batch. 11 My Unsubmitted Batches

12  Messages in the View Batch screen notify you of issues that need to be corrected before submitting the batch.  You can choose to ignore the alerts before submitting the batch by checking the box “Ignore alerts during submission.”  You can choose to delete the batch or edit the batch. Once the corrections have been made, the SLA Submit button will be available to use. 12 My Unsubmitted Batches (cont.)

13  Total Unsubmitted Batches shows a list of unsubmitted batches created by all users of a brokerage.  The top section shows the search criteria and the checkbox to only display items with alerts.  The bottom section shows the search results from the search criteria. ◦ Number hyperlink displays the Alert Summary. 13 Total Unsubmitted Batches

14  My Open Tags tab displays a list of tags for the logged in user.  There are three options to answer tags: ◦ Click the checkbox next to the Tag Number hyperlink to select multiple tags with the same answer. ◦ Click the Tag Number to go to the specific tag. ◦ Select the Policy Number hyperlink to view the policy details before responding to a tag. 14 My Open Tags

15 15 Responding to a Tag from a Tag Number Hyperlink  Click the Tag Number hyperlink to respond to the tag in the Tag Text field.  Click Respond to Tags to enter your response and upload any requested documents.

16  Provide the answer to the tag in the Response field.  Upload any additional documents.  Click SLA Submit to send your response. 16 Tag Response

17  Click the Policy Number hyperlink from your tag search to view details of the policy.  Click the Tag Number hyperlink to go to the Tag Details screen where you can respond to the tag. 17 Responding to a Tag from the Policy Number Hyperlink

18  Total Open Tags is a list of all open tags for the brokerage.  Total Informational Tags is a list of all informational tags that have not been viewed.  The top section shows the search criteria for open tags.  The bottom section shows the search results from the search criteria.  To answer tags from the search results, follow the same steps as slides 15-17. 18 Total Open Tags
