Health Care Initiatives Calian – One of Canada's largest health services companies – Providing access to medical clinics and family physicians across Canada to military families – Pilot launch – Winnipeg (June 2015), followed by Toronto, Halifax, and multiple locations – No cost to families or CAF/DND Op Family Doc – NCR-MFRC partnership with Academy of Medicine Ottawa to connect military families with primary healthcare providers – 1400 families successfully matched with 54 clinics – No cost to families or CAF/DND 20

Support Services for Medically- Released Veterans & Families November 2014 - Joint VAC/DND Announcement TBS Approved: $10.1 M/4 years To use existing support network of care: MFRCs, Family Info Line and FamilyForce.ca 7 pilot sites (Esquimalt, Edmonton, Shilo, North Bay, Trenton, Valcartier and Halifax) to offer support for 2 years post release to medically-released veterans and families In place by 1 October 2015 21
