2 Discussion  Can you predict the exact shape of a motion graph?  How do you determine the general equations of the motion graphs?

3 Review Graphing Rules  Slope of position/time:  Slope of velocity/time:  Area under the velocity graph:

5 Clip #1: Land Speed Record Clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxzGFPEBy7Q www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxzGFPEBy7Q  Draw the x/t, v/t, a/t graphs for 5 seconds of constant velocity.  Velocity = 1050 mph, convert to m/s.  Using the kinematic equations determine how far the car travels in seconds.  Include #’s and units on all of the graphs.

7 Corrected Scenes  Please complete the motion graphs for your corrected scenes.  Makes sure to use the motion equations to accurately predict the graphs.  Your graphs should include formulas and numbers.
